Role Description

We are looking for an experienced, collaborative and creative Senior Marketing Manager to lead the commercial marketing strategy for UNCLE but also be hands on with the day-to-day tasks due to a small team. You must be an exceptional B2B marketeer who has a good understanding about the advertising and media industry, but is also excited by the music, fashion, arts, and culture scene. 

Based in London, you will be working in a fast-paced environment and will be responsible for growing a team in the future as the company rapidly expands. This is a senior position requiring you to develop the international commercial marketing strategy and oversee its execution to help the sales team generate new business and grow existing accounts to achieve ambitious targets.

You will have experience managing and mentoring a team and have a creative and analytical approach to bring strategy, inspiration, and new ideas to the company. You must have a great visual eye and good grounding in copy writing, particularly when it comes to B2B marketing materials and sales tools. 

What you'll be doing
 
  • Working collaboratively with the Founder and Marketing Director to lead and oversee the implementation of the international commercial marketing strategies to drive growth in the UK, EU and USA markets.  
  • Working with the agency sales teams to develop strategies specific to their needs and provide tools and materials to enable their sales team to function effectively.
  • Develop new business and retention strategies to drive revenue.
  • Oversee the localisation of marketing materials and campaigns, ensuring they resonate with local audiences and reflect cultural nuances. 
  • Create and manage a territory specific calendar of events.
  • Continually review changes to the market, industry trends and the activities of competitors, adjusting the commercial marketing plan if necessary.
  • Utilise data to develop targeted marketing campaigns, interrogating the company’s databases and external data.
  • Report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns using pre-determined KPIs.
  • Manage sales price lists and pull together proactive sales packages.
  • Write and send out mailers, one pagers and showcases to clients.
  • Create presentations using keynote to support sales teams with client pitches, presentations and roadshows.
  • Write clear, engaging copy for case studies and campaign content.
  • Project manage the execution of partnerships and collaborations once they’ve been set up and signed off by the Marketing Director.
  • Manage and measure commercial marketing costs.
  • Mentor, manage and guide the day-to-day activities of the commercial marketing team in the near future. 
  • Build and maintain relationships with key international partners and stakeholders.
About you
  • Proven commercial marketing experience. 
  • Proven ability to manage complex marketing campaigns.
  • Strong leadership skills and experience managing.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills. 
  • Ability to travel internationally as required. 
  • Loves the music, fashion, arts and culture space.
  • Passionate about the street and what we do there.
  • Strong data analysis skills to provide the foundation for marketing strategies.
  • Creative and good eye for design and photography.
  • Excellent copy writing skills.
  • A self-starter with a pro-active approach.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Experience using keynote, Mailchimp and WordPress.
  • Experience working at an agency or media owner.

 

A nice to have, but is not essential:

 

  • Ability to speak a second language (French in particular)
  • International marketing experience.
